Presentation of the Kubrick nearly made me cry. Beautiful. Another great installment. Thank you.
(any standout definitions from the portraits for you? I didn't watch them all...)
I liked the way Meredith Monk gave her definition in the first volume. Many of the artists come across as waaaay too self-important/waaaaay too serious, it makes it difficult for me to take them seriously.
Also, Steve Tomasula gives, in the first part of his answer, a similar answer to what I would say (have said) art is (i.e. useless), but then I would quarrel with him when he begins talking about that usefulness becoming useful for political action.
